Conspiracy Charges Filed Against Men Nabbed by Police in Clarion for Shoplifting

MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Two men are facing conspiracy and retail theft charges after being recognized as repeat shoplifters at the Clarion Walmart store.

Court documents indicate the Clarion-based State Police filed criminal charges against 44-year-old Besiki Kintsurashvili and 49-year-old Teimurazi Partskhaladze, both of Brooklyn, NY.

According to a criminal complaint, around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 13, Trooper Allison interviewed Walmart personnel about a retail theft that occurred that day around 9:08 a.m. The personnel stated that two white male suspects entered the store at 8:58 a.m. and 8:59 a.m. respectively. The first man was bald and was wearing a gray shirt, black vest, and blue jeans. The second man was wearing a gray baseball cap, black shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans.

The store personnel said that the suspect placed a towel over the basket of a shopping cart and then placed three Apple television sets and two Microsoft ten software packages under the towel. The personnel said the suspects then made some evasive moves in the store, placed the items inside a baggy vest, and left the store at approximately 9:08 a.m.

The personnel stated that the two individuals did not pay for any items and appeared to know what they were doing in regards to targeting smaller high dollar items. The individuals then left the Walmart property in a dark blue Toyota Sienna with a New York registration.

Around 1:34 p.m. on Friday, April 20, the two men returned to Walmart and conspired to commit an additional theft. Walmart personnel alerted PSP Clarion that the individuals from the incident on April 13 were in the store and stole again. A traffic stop was conducted on State Route 68 in Monroe Township on a dark Blue Toyota Sienna van with a New York registration, and the men were identified as Besiki Kintsurashvili and Teimurazi Partskhaladze.

Walmart reported that Partskhaladze and Kintsurashvili stole a total of $810.90 in merchandise on April 13.

Kintsurashvili and Partskhaladze were arraigned at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20, in Magisterial District Judge Timothy P. Schill’s office on the following charges:

– Retail Theft-Take Merchandise, Misdemeanor 2
– Conspiracy — Retail Theft-Take Merchandise, Misdemeanor 2

Unable to post $50,000.00 cash bail, each, they were lodged in the Clarion County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, with Judge Schill presiding.
