Two Injured in Motorcycle Crash in Barnett Township

BARNETT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police say a motorcycle crash occurred Monday afternoon in Barnett Township, Forest County.

According to Marienville-based State Police, around 2:28 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 54-year-old Brian Allen Arnio, of Marienville, was operating a motorcycle traveling northbound on State Route 899 near Blue Ridge Road in Barnett Township.

Police say Arnio swerved to miss a bird and subsequently lost control of his motorcycle and slid approximately 100 feet.

Both Arnio and his passenger — 53-year-old Denise Marie Arnio, of Marienville — were ejected from the motorcycle.

Denise Arnio suffered moderate injuries.

The extent of Brian Arnio’s injuries is unknown.

Both individuals were treated by Clarion Ambulance.

Marienville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
