Community members, along with employees and students, are welcome and encouraged to attend and provide feedback via a survey managed by the firm, AGB Search. The link to the survey will be open on the university’s presidential search webpage on the first day of the corresponding candidate interview, and all four links will remain active for comments through midnight on May 7.

The next steps include a meeting of the search committee May 10 to review the feedback from the surveys and the interaction with the Clarion University community. At the end of that meeting, the search committee may recommend two candidates to the Council of Trustees.

The Council of Trustees has scheduled a special public meeting to review the recommendations on May 11. If approved by the Council of Trustees, those names will be forwarded to the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors, who will interview the candidates and select the next president of Clarion University.

In March, following open forums for three presidential candidates, including Urban, the Presidential Search Committee opted to extend the search in order to find additional qualified candidates to be considered for Clarion University president.
