EMLENTON, Pa. (D9Sports) — Noah Meyers doubled and homered and drove in three to lead North Clarion to an 8-4 win at A-C Valley.

Meyers was 3-for-4 with two runs scored for the Wolves, who broke the game open with a three-run seventh.
Logan Minich was also 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI with Matson Higgins going 2-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored and Bryce Byers was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Sam Anderson was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored for A-C Valley with Lucas Larimore going 2-for-3 with a run scored.
Meyers got the win going four innings allowing one run on three hits while striking out eight. Devon Walters then went two innings allowing three earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two. Matson Higgins pitched a scoreless seventh striking out two.
CRANBERRY 2, REDBANK VALLEY 1
HAWTHORN, Pa. — Trevor Gladin broke a 1-all tie with a one-out single in the top of the sixth, and Brandon Forrest made a full-extension diving catch in center with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the seventh on a ball hit by Blaney Brooks to give visiting Cranberry a 2-1 win over Redbank Valley.

It was a classic pitcher duel between Cranberry Thomas Flinspach and Redbank Valley’s Bryan Layton.
Flinspach got the win going six innings allowing an unearned run on six hits and a walk while striking out four. Gladin then picked up the save despite walking the bases loaded in seventh. He did strike out one.
Layton gave up two runs, one earned, on three hits and a walk while striking out 17 (of the 18 outs he recorded) in six innings of work. Brooks then pitched a scoreless seventh.
Gladin homered for the Berries first run.
Kobe Bonanno doubled while going 2-for-3 with a run scored with Nick Smith was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Redbank Valley.
KARNS CITY 9, BROCKWAY 0
BUTLER, Pa. — Nolan Riley tossed a one-hit shutout as Karns City blanked visiting Brockway, 9-0, at Kelly Automotive Park in Butler.
Riley struck out 10 and didn’t walk a batter.
Riley helped his own cause going 1-for-3 with a triple, two walks, a run scored and two RBIs.
Logan Pistorius added a double, a run scored and three RBIs for the Gremlins with Steve O’Donnell scoring twice.
Tino Inzana had the lone hit for Brockway and took the loss allowing six unearned runs on five hits, two hit batters and two walks while striking out one in three innings.
CLARION 11, UNION 0, 5 INNINGS
RIMERSBURG, Pa. — Skylar Rhoades drove in five runs to help Clarion to an 11-0, five-inning win at Union.
Rhoades was 3-for-3 with a triple, a walk and two runs scored.
That was more than enough offense for the Bobcats pitching trio of Cam Craig, Skyler Pastor and Lake Staub.
Craig went three innings allowing two hits and two walks while striking out one. Pastor then pitched a scoreless inning with a walk and three strikeouts before Staub finished off striking out one in one inning of work.
Drew Whren chipped in a double and two RBIs for Clarion with Craig going 1-for-1 with three walks and four runs scored and Spencer Miller scoring twice while getting a hit and a walk.
KEYSTONE SWEEPS DOUBLEHEADER
TIONESTA, Pa. — Keystone swept a doubleheader against Forest Area at West Forest winning Game One 6-0 and Game Two 8-4.
In Game One, Jayden Blazosky hit a home run while going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored.
Tye Elder hit a pair of doubles going 3-for-4 with two runs scored with Dawson Steele going 2-for-4 with a run scored and Johnson was 2-for-4 with an RBI
Dawson Steele got the win going seven innings of shutout ball allowing four hits, a walk and a hit batter while striking out nine.
In the nightcap, Steele went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored with Ian Larson going 3-for-4 with an RBI, Marcus Bowser driving in two runs and Elder also driving in two while scoring once.
Noah Burke was 2-for-4 with two runs scored for Forest Area.
Troy Johnson got the win for Keystone going five innings allowing three runs, one earned, on six hits and three walks while striking out three.
MONITEAU 11, CLARION-LIMESTONE 1, 5 INNINGS
BUTLER, Pa. — Brice Williams doubled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored twice to lead Moniteau to an 11-1, five-inning win over Clarion-LImestone at Kelly Automotive Park in Butler.
Jake Jewart was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for the Warriors as well with Nick Sosigian going 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs and Hunter Fitzingo walking three times and scoring three times.
Change Nagy, Jewart, Fitzingo all pitched for Moniteau with Nagy going two innings allowing a hit and a walk while striking out three, Jewart went two innings allowing a run on two hits and a walk while striking two and Fitzingo going an inning allowing a hit while striking out two.
