Strattanville Residents Charged with Animal Neglect
Around 2:12 p.m. on Friday, May 11, PSP Clarion received a call about a possibly neglected dog at a private residence in Strattanville Borough.
Upon PSP arrival, a male dog was observed with very little weight on its body, ribs and bones showing underneath its fur, open sores on its skin, and tied to a post with no shade. The length of the tie-out was less than the legal requirement, and the dog had no food or water.
The dog was taken into protective custody.
Charges have been filed against 37-year-old Todd Switzer and 27-year-old Natasha Anthony, both of Strattanville, through Magisterial District Judge Duane L. Quinn’s office.
The above report was released to exploreClarion.com on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
