Clintonville Fire Chief Gerry Rea told exploreVenango.com that the accident happened around 2:00 p.m. on Interstate 80 eastbound near mile marker 33.5.

The roadway was closed between Exit 29 (Barkeyville) and Exit 35 (Clintonville.) for approximately 1.5 hours.

Traffic was detoured off Interstate 80 at the Barkeyville exit and back onto the roadway in Clintonville.

Rea said the tractor trailer, which was hauling sand, lost control and rolled over, blocking both eastbound lanes.
