Man Involved in Clarion County Drug Trafficking Sentenced to Probation

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – One of sixteen individuals charged following a joint investigation into street-level drug trafficking in Clarion County late last year was recently sentenced.

According to court documents, on May 9, 23-year-old Shane Kelly Whitehouse, of Stoneboro, was sentenced in Clarion County Court of Common Pleas to six months of county probation.

Whitehouse pleaded guilty on April 11 to one misdemeanor count of intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered.

The following charges were dismissed as a result of the plea agreement:

– Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Felony
– Possession of Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

Clarion County President Judge James G. Arner also ordered Whitehouse to the following conditions:

– Pay the costs of prosecution and supervision fee;
– Not consume any alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs;
– Pay $100.00 to the Clerk of Courts pursuant to Act 198; and
– Perform 25 hours of community service.

Whitehouse was one of sixteen people charged on Wednesday, November 8, after what District Attorney Mark Aaron called a “joint effort and a several-month investigation by CNET and the Pennsylvania State Police Vice Unit.”
