State Police Calls: Assault, Retail Thefts, Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct

CLARION CO. Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Assault/Harassment in Monroe Township

According to police, PSP Clarion are investigating a report of Simple Assault/Harassment that occurred on Tuesday, May 8, at approximately 9:30 a.m., as two known males engaged in a verbal altercation at the Clarion Psychiatric Center that ended in physical strikes.

Charges will be filed thru the District Attorney’s office.

Retail Theft in Monroe Township

On Thursday, May 10, at approximately 2:07 p.m., PSP Clarion responded to a retail theft at Clarion Walmart. Upon further investigation, 23-year-old Samira Michelle Rachel, of Clarion, and a known juvenile allegedly attempted to leave Clarion Walmart without paying for $377.44 worth of merchandise.

All of the items were recovered by Walmart.

Public Drunkenness in Monroe Township

Police say around 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, May 27, a known 51-year-old Clarion man was found to be extremely intoxicated inside Walmart in Monroe Township.

Disorderly Conduct in Beaver Township

According to police, around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 47-year-old Brian Mead Womeldorf, of Knox, allegedly punched and threw a beer can at a known victim’s truck.

Retail Theft in Monroe Township

Police say around 2:58 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, Clarion Walmart Loss Prevention stopped 28-year-old Lachelle Lynne Bearer , who allegedly attempted to steal various merchandise.

PSP Clarion responded and arrested Bearer for Retail Theft.
