Ann B. Abdalla

Ann B. Abdalla journeyed peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, May 18, 2018, with family and friends by her side.

Born June 12, 1930, she is the daughter of the late Nancy (Wilson) Brown and H. Douglas Brown of Oil City, PA. Ann is also predeceased by her sister Nina (Brown) Beque, a brother William B. Brown, an adopted daughter Jo Marie Diacone, and her husband Charles (Bud) Abdalla, whom she married April 27, 1957. Survivors include a brother H. Douglas Brown of Collinsville, IL and many nieces and nephews.

Ann is a graduate of Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs and attended Judson College, Marion, AL, SUNY Oneonta and College of St. Rose. She was a lifelong teacher, specializing in physical education and special education. She taught many years in Whitehall, NY and thirty-one years in Saratoga Spring. She enjoyed bowling, tennis, canoeing, and baseball.

A gentle soul, Ann was kind and respectful to everyone. She was generous both to charities and individuals and a loving support to all. Ann was a forgiver of transgressions and saw good in everyone. Her loss will affect many.
