PA Fire Marshal, Tionesta VFD Investigating House Blaze; Damages Estimated at $100K

KINGSLEY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Authorities are investigating a fire that occurred on Saturday morning at a house located on Boggs Drive, in Kingsley Township, Forest County.

The PA State Police Fire Marshal and the Tionesta Volunteer Fire Department investigated the origin and cause of a fire that destroyed a single story residential dwelling that occurred around 8:19 a.m. on June 2 at 541 Boggs Drive in Kingsley Township.

The damage is estimated at $100,000.00.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation and is believed to be accidental.

The victim — 75-year-old Sally Ann Weller, of Tionesta — was not home at the time of the fire.
