State Police Seeking Information on Hit-and-Run on Route 66

FARMINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police are seeking information on a hit-and-run crash that occurred on Sunday night on State Route 66 in Farmington Township, Clarion County.

According to Marienville-based State Police, around 6:20 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, an unidentified vehicle was traveling south on Route 66. While passing other motorists on a right-hand curve, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to weather conditions. The vehicle traveled across the opposing northbound lane of traffic and exited the roadway on the eastern side. The vehicle then traveled across the front yard of a property owner, striking a guide wire connected to a nearby utility pole. The driver left the scene of the crash.

The vehicle is a white extended-bed pickup truck with a horizontal green stripe going down the side. It has possible front-end damage.
