Traffic Stop on Route 208 Results in DUI-Drug Arrest

LAKE LUCY, Pa. (EYT) — State police say a DUI arrest was made on Wednesday night on State Route 208 between Kiser Lane and Lake Lucy Road, in Clarion County.

Marienville-based State Polie initiated a traffic stop around 10:52 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, on a maroon-colored sedan for a traffic violation.

Upon investigation, it was determined that the driver — a 33-year-old Oil City woman — was under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance.

The woman was detained and transported to Clarion Hospital for a blood draw.

Charges are currently pending following results of chemical testing.

Charges were filed at District Court 18-3-02.

The name of the woman was not released.
