Clarion Borough Theft Suspects Come Forward After Identifying Video Released
CLARION BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Four individuals accused of criminal activity at a Wood Street business turned themselves in Wednesday after a video of the incident spread like a wildfire on social media.
According to police, the incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, at The Fulmer House, located at 703 Wood Street.
Police say the individuals removed several books, a basket of items, and a brown metal cat from the front porch of the business. The unknown individuals also kicked over several flower pots.
A male suspect was identified less than 20 minutes after exploreClarion.com shared the above video with its audience. A short time later, one or more of the individuals spoke with the business owner and police, and admitted to being involved in the incident.
The video reached over 30,000 people on various online platforms.
Clarion Borough Police Officer Kemmer said charges will be filed against the following individuals:
- a 23-year-old female from Butler
- a 22-year-old female from Greensburg
- a 23-year-old female from Sigel
- a 21-year-old male from Summerville
Their names will be released after charges are filed.
The charges, which will be processed by Officer Fox, are expected to be filed soon.
