DiTullio is receiving a partial scholarship to twirl for the St. Francis University Bands, who are another of the long-standing traditions of Red Flash athletics, and has become an essential part of the athletics experience here at Saint Francis. From kickoff to tip-off, the SFU marching and pep bands are always there to rally the fans and players alike to victory, according to the school’s athletic website.

The Saint Francis Bands offer students the excitement of participating in athletic events during all seasons of competition, including the football, men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s Volleyball seasons. As one of the few Universities in Pennsylvania to offer scholarships for marching and pep band, you can be a part of the group that ‘brings the noise’ to Red Flash sports, the band description goes on.

The Band season runs from September until April, with typically 30 dates of performance over the course of the school year. The Marching Band will play at all home football games over the course of the season (usually a five-game schedule), and may also participate in local parades and functions.

The Pep Band performs at all men’s and women’s basketball games, travels to select road games and all NEC and NCAA Tournament games, and also plays at occasional home men’s and women’s volleyball matches. On average, that constitutes 20 dates over the course of the season.
