NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Redbank Valley Chamber of Commerce recently announced that the 11th Annual Customer Appreciation Day and Sidewalk Sales will be held on Friday, June 22.

The event is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Event coordinator, Laura Neiswonger explained to exploreClarion.com that Customer Appreciation Day is meant to be a bit of both fun and awareness about opportunities to shop local.

“Our goal is to provide a fun community day while reminding folks the different businesses available for them to support year round.”

Neiswonger explained that the highlight of the day will be the opportunity for customers to collect stamps for their personal passports for the day.

“Participating businesses are put on a map and passport,” Neiswonger explained. “Customers travel around New Bethlehem collecting stamps from the various businesses listed on the passport. Once individuals have collected all of the stamps and have a fully stamped passport, they bring the passport back to me at RMS Furniture to be entered into several drawings.”

Neiswonger disclosed that this year’s grand prize is a trip for four to the Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, Ohio, and $400.00 in spending cash.

More than fifty Redbank Valley area businesses will be participating in this year’s event, and Neiswonger expects between 200 to 300 passports to be turned in at RMS with dozens of others simply swinging by to check out the events of the day which will include a multitude of food vendors.
