The selection was based on each candidate’s merit for non-paid service to community, church, and school.

Funding is available as a result of efforts by both the cooperative and area legislators to secure CEC’s unclaimed capital credits, previously sent back to the Pennsylvania state treasury. These funds now stay in our local neighborhoods. Another clear example of the Cooperative Difference and its commitment to strengthening local communities.

CEC would like to remind members scholarship opportunities are available to all age groups who wish to further their education.

CEC is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative and has been serving members for 81 years. Members are encouraged to attend the annual meeting of the members Friday, August 24, 2018. Find out more by visiting www.central.coop. The co-op serves approximately 25,000 members with over 3,000 miles of distribution line in portions of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Forest, Mercer and Venango counties.
