Clarion County 9-1-1 received a call about the fire at a residence on Tylersburg Road in Farmington Township near the intersection of State Route 36 and Tylersburg Road at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, July 11.

Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Company, Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department, Marienville Volunteer Fire Company, and Shippenville-Elk Township Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched along with Clarion Hospital EMS and Marienville-based State Police.

Chief Matt Heasley of the Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Company said no one was at home when the blaze broke out and no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

Chief Heasly said the interior of the structure sustained serious damage.

“It was pretty much gutted,” he said.
