State Police Investigating Theft of Vehicle in East Brady
EAST BRADY, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from a business in East Brady on Sunday evening.
Around 6:41 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, PSP Clarion responded to a report of a vehicle theft from the Family Dollar parking lot in East Brady.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that an unknown perpetrator rode into the parking lot on a suspected stolen bicycle. The perpetrator then threw the bicycle over the guard rail, got into an unlocked white 1998 Subaru Forester, and fled the scene in the car heading south on State Route 68 at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle was recovered the next morning in East Brady and processed by the State Police Forensic Services Unit (FSU).
