HARMONY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police say a one-vehicle DUI-related accident occurred early Monday morning on Dawson Run Road, in Harmony Township, Forest County.

According to Marienville-based State Police, around 3:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 30-year-old Aaron P. Barnhart, of Titusville, was attempting to make a left-hand turn from Dawson Run Road onto Tank Hill Road and improperly made the turn.

His 2015 KIA Sportage came to a final rest into a ditch at the intersection of the roadways.

All airbags were deployed, causing the vehicle to be disabled.

He was using a seat belt and was not injured.

Barnhart was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to Warren General Hospital for a blood draw, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing.
