Clarion County Fair Kicks Off on July 22

HAWTHORN, Pa. (EYT) — The week-long Clarion County Fair kicks off on Sunday, July 22, at the Redbank Valley Municipal Park near New Bethlehem.

The week-long extravaganza continues through Saturday, July 28.

Daily admission is $8.00 per person. Children under two are admitted free unless riding. The price includes parking, admission, rides, and grandstand seating.

Admission to Sunday’s events is a donation to a local charity. There will be no rides that day.

Food concessions will be open every day.

There are special admission days.

Monday is Military Appreciation Day, free admission for all attendees with a military card; Thursday is Special Needs Day with free admission from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; and Friday is free admission for senior citizens until 3:00 p.m.

“Clarion Fair’s Got Talent” will be presented on Sunday, July 22, and Monday, July 23, and will feature music by Coston Cross.

Daily shows include Brian Franzen’s Elephants, Hypnotist Richard Barker, The Butterfly Experience, Awesome AG Magic Show, Wild About Robots “Iron Man,” and Knocker Ball.

Tuesday evening’s feature show spotlights an award-winning Elvis Presley tribute, and Derby Dogs will be presenting the annual Demo Derby on Wednesday evening.

Team S.T.O.R.M. Tough Truck Racing will be presented on Thursday evening where drivers will compete on a course that includes jumps, turns, and other obstacles.

Friday night’s events include the annual 4H Livestock Auction as well as the Antique Truck & Tractor Pull. Full Pull Productions Truck & Tractor Pull also finishes out the week’s events on Saturday evening.

Redbank Valley Municipal Park is located 1 1/2 miles north of New Bethlehem, just off Route 28.
