Emergency Crews Respond to Fully-Engulfed Tractor-Trailer Fire in Paint Township

PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Emergency responders were called to a tractor-trailer fire Wednesday shortly after Noon along State Route 66, in Paint Township, Clarion County.

The call came in around 12:40 p.m. for a fully-engulfed tractor-trailer fire near K & K Landscaping, located along State Route 66, just south of Route 322.

The following emergency responders were called to the scene:

– Shippenville-Elk Township Volunteer Fire Department
– Shippenville-Elk Volunteer Ambulance
– Clarion-based State Police

Crews arrived on the scene at 12:50 p.m. and were able to completely extinguish the fire a short time later.

According to a representative of the Shippenville-Elk Township Volunteer Fire Department, the driver of the truck was not injured.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined and under investigation.
