CLARION, Pa. – Senior citizens in the 63rd District in Clarion and Forest counties are invited to attend Rep. Donna Oberlander’s (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest) annual Nifty Sixty Expo at the Clarion Mall on Friday, August 3.

The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to noon and will include exhibitors specializing in health care, exercise and nutrition, personal and financial safety, insurance, financial planning, hunting and fishing activities, and savings programs.

“Seniors who have attended our Nifty Sixty Expo have learned a great deal about the types of services and programs available for them right here in the 63rd District,” Oberlander said. “From protecting their identity to finding out about health care and financing planning to ways in which they can spend their time, seniors have had their questions answered by an on-site expert or picked up a few tips to keep them and their loved ones safe.”

This year’s expo will continue to be held at the Clarion Mall, located along Route 68 near Exit 62 of Interstate 80.

Door prizes will be awarded, lunch will be served at noon.

“We’re fortunate to have all of our vendors and activities under one roof,” Oberlander continued. “The mall has plenty of parking, and is air-conditioned, and we offer lots of additional seating for those with mobility issues. We encourage those seniors who have visited in the past to come out to learn something new, and we urge those who haven’t been to our expo before to stop by.”

There is no cost to attend.

A Senior Expo for Armstrong County residents, co-hosted by Reps. Oberlander and Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Butler/Indiana), along with Sen. Don White (R-Indiana), will be held Wednesday, August 29, at the Kittanning Township Volunteer Fire Department along Route 422.
