Carl Joseph “Cud” Buzard

Carl Joseph “Cud” Buzard, 53, of Strattanville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 28, 2018, at home due to natural causes.

He was born on July 10, 1966, in Clarion; the son of the late Connell R. Buzard Sr. and Barbara Leigh Rickard Buzard.

Cud was married on May 25, 1995, to Virginia Sanders, who survives.

He was employed at Trinity Railroad in Greenville as a welder for a number of years and most recently worked at New Era as a Welder.

Cud was a member of the Clarion V.F.W. #2145 for 30 years, the Clarion Moose #101, Clarion Eagles #3807, Clarion American Legion #066 and the Rod & Gun Club of Knox. He enjoyed Fishing, working on cars and spending time with his family.

Cud would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Virginia and his two stepsons Billy Schultz and Josh Buzard all of Greenville; four brothers Donald Buzard, James Buzard, Ronald Buzard and his wife Lola all of Strattanville, and Connell R. Buzard Jr. and his wife Ruth of Rimersburg; along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Cud is preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Stephanie Nicole Buzard.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home with Lee Theiss presiding.

Interment will be at Cedarview Memorial Park.

The family has requested donations to the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, in lieu of flowers.
