State Police Investigating Alleged Child Rape

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — State police are investigating a rape that occurred in Oil City, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, the female victim, of Seneca, came to the Franklin station to report multiple sexual assaults that occurred to her when she was between the ages of six and 13.

The incidents occurred between the dates of June 1, 2002, and December 31, 2009.

The victim disclosed two possible suspect names which have not yet been identified by PSP.

The sexual assaults occurred in Butler and Venango Counties at multiple address locations, police say.

This investigation is ongoing.
