KNOX TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Lucinda man was injured after his vehicle struck a utility pole in Knox Township late Tuesday morning.

According to police, around 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 83-year-old James W. Snyder, of Lucinda, was operating a 2003 Toyota Avalon, traveling north on State Route 66 in Knox Township.

Police say Snyder’s vehicle exited its lane of travel before crossing over the opposing lane and then leaving the roadway.

The vehicle then struck a utility pole with its front end causing both front airbags to be deployed.
