Manhunt Underway in Venango County for Attempted Kidnapping Suspect

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — State Police in Franklin are seeking a fugitive who was last seen in Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police are actively searching for Jeremy E. Chambers, whose last known address is 1729 Lardintown Road, Tarentum, Pa.

Chambers is described as a white male, 36-years-old, with brown hair. He was last seen wearing tan shorts and a dark cut-off t-shirt.

Chambers is wanted in New Kensington for aggravated assault, attempted kidnapping, and theft of a motor vehicle.

Franklin-based State Police received a tip that Chambers was at a residence on Old Route 8 in southern Venango County and when troopers arrived, he fled on a red ATV.

According to police, Chambers was last seen on stolen black and yellow dirt bike in the Clintonville area.

Troopers on the ground and at least one PSP helicopter are being used to scour the area for Chambers.

Anyone who sees Chambers or has information related to his whereabouts asked to call PSP Franklin at 814-676-6596.
