EAST BRADY BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — An East Brady woman is facing assault and related charges following an altercation in East Brady Saturday night.

Court documents indicate that the New Bethlehem Borough Police Department filed criminal charges against 29-year-old Ashley Marie Webb of East Brady.

According to a criminal complaint, around 10:06 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, Officer Clark of the New Bethlehem Police Department was dispatched to a residence along Kellys Way for an active domestic altercation. As Officer Clark was en route, he was informed that the victim had refused EMS care and was waiting for his arrival.

At the scene, Officer Clark made contact with the victim who said she was in her backyard when a woman, later identified as Ashley Webb, entered her yard and began yelling at her. The victim told Officer Clark that she asked Webb to leave.

The victim said Webb started to leave, then turned around and began attacking her from behind, pulling her hair while hitting her. The victim reported that Webb ripped her heart monitor off and then left the property.

The victim also explained that she called 9-1-1 because she had scratches on her arm and did not know if her heart monitor would be affected.

According to the complaint, a witness also gave a written statement of what occurred.

Officer Clark then made contact with Webb.

According to the complaint, Webb reported that she entered the victim’s property and the victim had burned her forehead with a cigarette. She said she had started to leave but then came back and started to fight the victim.

The complaint notes that the victim and the witness both said the victim “did not burn anyone with a cigarette.”
