Peggy was born February 5, 1946, in Oil City, Pennsylvania, to the late William J. and Ruth P. Scovron. She was a 1964 graduate of Oil City High School.

While stationed in Germany with her first husband, Lee P. Rader, Peg was a family counselor for the U.S. Army in Ansbach, Germany from 1980 to 1986, where her family earned the Family of the Year Award. She retired from Avon in January 2015, where she served as a District Sales Manager with a team of 500 successful sales representatives in the southern Nevada area.

She married to Patric J. Folwell June 24, 1995, who preceded her in death, June 16, 2015.

In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy was also preceded in death by her sister, Marriane Scovron Battista.

Peg is survived by her son, Bill Rader and his fiance, Maya Issel; stepsons, Matt Folwell and Darrin Rudicil, and family all of Las Vegas; stepdaughter, Amy Folwell of Seneca, Pennsylvania; granddaughter, Dezire Diaz, and great-grandsons, Ethan and Andy of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister, Martha McFadden and her husband, Keith, of Oil City, Pennsylvania; niece, Molly Whitling and family; two nephews, Chris Wygant and Adam Wygant and their families, all of Pennsylvania; Peg is also survived by her beloved fiance and traveling companion, Franklin Grijp, and family of Las Vegas.

Peg loved to travel and tend to her desert scape garden, but her passion was her Kansas State Wildcat’s home football games, which she never missed.

Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, at Our Lady of Las Vegas Roman Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive.

In lieu of flowers and because of her love of dogs, the family suggests donations in her name to the NSPCA www.nevadaspca.org.
