SLIGO, Pa. (EYT) — The Clarview Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center and Country Springs care about its residents and their families and operates a special “WE CARE” program that also emphasizes the program with its employees.

The basic principles include the following:

Welcome open communication

Empathy for situations/relationships

Compassion in our daily actions

Actions speak louder than words

Respect one another

Exceed expectations

“‘WE CARE’ was adopted to consolidate the current customer service program into a comprehensive program while adding much more and committing to continue to grow and expand the program,” said Alison Mills Monrean, Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Administrator.

‘WE CARE’ helps to deliver the message clearly and helps management, personnel, referral sources, families, and residents connect to us on an emotional level.  It is intended to take all of the good things that we already do, intend to do, and to get the message out that our service is the service of choice.”

The principals of “WE CARE” apply to the entire campus, both Clarview and Country Springs.  The approach is customized within the programs in many unique ways.

Here are some highlights:

  • “WE CARE” takes Customer Service to the next level.
  • Welcome open communication encompasses a significant amount of this program, but not far behind are empathy, action, respect, compassion, and exceeding expectations.
  • We are never too busy for the customer.
  • Our door is always open.
  • Quality Communication is key.
  • Never too proud to say “We’re Sorry.”
  • Concerns/Problems are to be acted upon immediately.
  • Provide personalized and ongoing communication with the customer.
  • If it is important to the customer, it is important to us.
  • The Customer is Always Right; believe it or not it still takes some convincing for some personnel that this principle of customer service is real.
