CLARION, Pa. (D9Sports) — The fall sports booster clubs at Clarion High School will be holding their annual bonfire prior to the start of the fall sports season at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23.

The bonfire will be held at the old football field behind the high school, and the fall sports teams will be recognized.

The Bobcats golf team gets underway Wednesday at Karns City, while the football team is in action Friday at home against Punxsutawney on a game that can be heard right here on ExploreClarion. The rest of the fall sports — cross country, girls’ soccer and volleyball, will all be in action the first few days of September.
