Woman Injured After Hitting Tractor-Trailer on Interstate 80 Near Emlenton

EMLENTON, Pa. (EYT) — A woman was injured after her vehicle struck a semi-truck on Interstate 80 westbound near Emlenton last week.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 9:22 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 60-year-old Regina L. Robinson, of Carlisle, PA, was driving a 2011 Cadillac SRX, and 51-year-old Curtis D. Drudge, of New Haven, IN, was operating a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia, west on Interstate 80 near mile marker 48.2.

Police say Robinson’s vehicle struck Drudge’s vehicle.

Robinson suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported to Grove City Hospital by Emlenton EMS.

Drudge was not injured.

Both drivers were using seat belts.

Robinson was charged with a traffic violation.
