Amelia M. Keyser

Amelia M. Keyser, 79, of Commons Lane, Ridgway, PA died Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Pinecrest Manor in St. Mary’s PA after a lengthy illness.

Born on March 7, 1939, in Kane, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Stites) Thompson.

Amelia was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Charles, Christopher, and Jeffrey Keyser, all of Ridgway, PA; two daughters, Elnora Harris of Wilmington, NC and Audrey Valentine and her husband Michael of St. Mary’s, PA; two brothers, David and Robert Thompson; two sisters, Bertha Asel and Linda Wenner; her longtime companion, Joseph “Butch” Cherry of Johnsonburg, PA; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Timothy Keyser; her grandson, Timothy Keyser, II; two brothers, William and John Thompson; and four sisters, Elizabeth Kelly, Katherine Repko, Dorothy Burton, and Sue Ann Kalgren.

There will be no public visitation and a funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Lake City Lutheran Cemetery, Lake City, PA.

Memorials may be placed with Pinecrest Manor, 763 Johnsonburg Road, St. Mary’s, PA 15857, and/or the charity of the donor’s choice.
