David William Hannold, 73, of Strattanville, PA, died Monday, September 10, at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born January 30, 1945, in Starford, PA, David was the son of David Willis and Bertha Starr Hannold. He was married to Margaret Ann Byers on October 17, 1970.

He is survived by his wife Margaret, a sister Debbie Hannold Stoner and six children, James and Mary Teed Hannold, Bill and Morgan Hannold, Karen Hannold Clark, Mike Hannold and Elizabeth Ingram, Cathy Hannold, and Amy Hannold and James Vance.

In addition, he is survived by 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and a sister, Marlene Hannold Griffith.

David loved to spend time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He also valued spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 15, at the Clarion “The River” Church of the Nazarene, 202 Mayfield Drive, Clarion, PA, followed immediately by the Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. There will be a small reception after the service.
