C. Sue Martin Gadsby, 77 of Irwin Township, Grove City, passed away on the morning of September 13, 2018 in her home with her husband by her side. Sue was born on September 8, 1941, the only child of Dorothy “Dot” J. Miller Raby, she survives. Sue was a graduate of Grove City High School and went on to work for OPM and USIS in Boyers for 29 years.

Sue married her beloved husband Carl E. “Junior” Gadsby Jr on October 7, 1960, he survives at home.

Sue was affiliated with the Irwin ECO Presbyterian Church in Kilgore for many years. She loved to decorate her home for Christmas and shopping for and giving Christmas gifts. She spent a lot of time baking and then giving away her baked goods as gifts. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends, listening to Bluegrass music, and playing cards. She loved her family and went to every sporting event she could for her grandsons.

In addition to her husband and mother, Sue is survived by her daughter Sarah Jean Perrine and husband Jim of Stoneboro, grandsons Nick Perrine and wife Sandy of Alexandria, VA, and Brandon Perrine and fiancé Melanie of Stoneboro, and step brother Kevin Raby of Espanola, Ontario.

She was preceded in death by her step father Jack Raby.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 2-4 pm & 6-8pm on Monday September 17. A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home at 11 am on Tuesday, September 18 with the Reverend Aaron J. Gadsby, pastor of Mountain View Wesleyan Church, Bath, PA, officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
