State Police Calls: Criminal Mischief, Motor Vehicle Accident

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – Clarion- and Marienville-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Criminal Mischief in Shippenville Borough

Clarion-based State Police investigated an incident of criminal mischief that occurred between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 17.

Police say the rear entry door, valued at $400.00, to a mobile home on North Street in Shippenville Borough was damaged.

Upon further investigation, a known 34-year-old Shippenville man was issued a non-traffic citation for criminal mischief.

Motor Vehicle Accident in Sligo Borough

According to police, around 10:09 p.m. on Monday, September 17, a known Rimersburg man was driving on State Route 68 near Huey Road when he struck a guide rail and came to a final rest behind Heeter Lumber in Sligo Borough.

The driver of the vehicle was a severe diabetic and received medical treatment.
