REDBANK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A 23-year-old Brookville man facing felony charges for the theft of several guns in Redbank Township in 2015 is due in court next week.
According to court documents, 23-year-old Traa Alan Wagner, of Brookville, is scheduled to stand for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Jeffrey C. Miller at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, on the following charges:
- Theft By Unlawful Taking-Movable Property, Felony 2
- Theft By Deception-False Impression, Felony 2
- Receiving Stolen Property, Felony 2
Details of the case:
According to a criminal complaint, on Monday, July 23, 2015, Traa Alan Wagner drove to a residence on Pine Run Road in Redbank Township, Clarion County, entered one of the bedrooms, and allegedly stole a Ranger shotgun from the closet and a Remington model 700 from a wall shelf before leaving the residence.
Wagner then allegedly drove to a business in Jefferson County where he signed paperwork stating he was the owner of the two firearms before selling the two guns to the business for $200.00, the complaint states.
According to the complaint, on June 6, 2017, Wagner wrote a confession stating that he stole the rifle and shotgun from the residence and sold them.
Based on the investigation, Wagner was arraigned at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, in Magisterial District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller’s office.
He is currently free on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.
