Route 3004 to be Closed in Green Township, Forest County

GREEN TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Route 3004 (Guitonville Road/Golinza Road) in Green Township, Forest County, will be closed next week for repairs.

The roadway will be closed from September 24 to September 28, 2018, in order for pipe replacement work to be completed by PennDOT employees from the Forest County maintenance facility.

The road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection with Allio Road to the intersection with Golinza Mill Road.

A detour will be posted using Nebraska Road, Route 36, and Route 66.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
