James Michael Lockhart, 26, of Pollocksville, NC and formerly of Oil City died Sept. 15, 2018.

James was the son of the late Michael Lockhart and Michelle & Zadok Dismuke.

He was married to the former Rebekah Simpson and she survives.

Survivors include his sister, Emily Stevens and her husband Justin; his brother Philip Crabtree and his niece Hadley Crabtree.

He is also survived by grandparents Ned and Sally Lockhart of Oil City; aunts and uncles Susan and Norman Simpson of Oil City, Tim Mohnkern of Minneapolis, MN, Stephen and Melissa Lockhart of Mount Holly Springs, and several cousins.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by an aunt, Karen Mohnkern.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday Sept. 20, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. in the Baptist Church in Pollocksville.

Memorials may be made to the Venango County Humane Society or to a charity of ones choice.
