CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Clarion man has been jailed for allegedly assaulting a six-year-old boy.
According to court documents, on Friday, September 28, Clarion-based State Police filed the following criminal charges against 35-year-old Daniel Arthur Barlow, of Clarion:
– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 1
– Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Misdemeanor 3
According to Clarion-based State Police Investigating Officer Allison, the incident occurred around 12:12 a.m. on Friday, September 21, as Daniel Barlow allegedly assaulted a known, six-year-old male in Clarion Township.
Barlow was taken into custody and arraigned at 2:10 p.m. on Friday, September 28, in front of Magisterial District Judge Duane L. Quinn.
Unable to post $10,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Clarion County Jail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on October 9 with Judge Quinn presiding.
