State Police Respond to One-Vehicle Crash in Scrubgrass Township

SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police responded to a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Thursday morning in Scrubgrass Township.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 11:50 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 58-year-old Ronald E. Disharoon, of Oil City, was traveling east on the 200 Block of Elder Road, west of Eakin Road, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

His 2002 Pontiac Grand Am traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a guide rail end. The car continued over the guide rail end and onto the guide rail cables where it came to a controlled stop.

Disharoon was using a seat belt and was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
