Warrant Issued for Clarion Man on Domestic Assault Charges

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police are asking the public for help in locating a Clarion man who assaulted a woman during a domestic altercation on Saturday night.

Around 8:13 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, state police responded to a domestic violence call at 15873 Route 322 in Clarion Township.

According to police, 39-year-old Charles Zellefrow, of Clarion, and a 42-year-old woman entered into a verbal altercation that turned physical. Charles “Chucky” Zellefrow grabbed the victim by the throat and lifted her off the ground. He then followed her to the adjoining room and lifted her off the ground by her throat a second time. He then fled the residence before state police arrived.

A warrant for Zellefrow’s arrest has been issued.
