According to Clarion-based State Police, around 7:32 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 22-year-old Morgan J. Green, of Allport, Pa., was operating a 2009 Suzuki SX4, traveling east on Interstate 80 in the right lane near mile marker 67.

Police say an unidentified vehicle traveling east on Interstate 80 attempted to move into the right lane. Green used her horn to notify the driver of the vehicle that she was there and the driver moved back into the left lane. Shortly thereafter, the same driver moved into the right lane again, striking Green’s vehicle on the driver’s side.

Green was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

The vehicle, which sustained damage to the driver’s side front tire and down to the rear of the driver’s side, was moved to the south berm with pedestrian assistance in order to open up the roadway following the crash.

Limestone Township Volunteer Fire Company and Clarion Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
