According to a criminal complaint, on August 31, Troopers Wilson and Knight, of the Clarion-based State Police, were dispatched to a report of a possible assault at a residence on State Route 338 in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

Upon arrival at the scene, Trooper Wilson interviewed a known man who stated that he went to his ex-girlfriend’s residence earlier and knocked on the door wanting to speak to her. He went on to state that when he got out of the vehicle and began speaking to the victim, the victim punched him in the face.
