UPDATE: Police Identify Suspect Accused of Rummaging Through Vehicles in Shippenville, Charges Pending

SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — A man accused of rummaging through multiple vehicles last week in Shippenville Borough has been identified.

According to Trooper Jones, of the Clarion-based State Police, the suspect has been identified from a source that called in Friday morning after seeing photos posted on exploreClarion.com.

The suspect’s name is not being released at this time.

Trooper Jones said that the suspect entered multiple vehicles along South School Street on October 11 around 11:45 p.m.

The incident occurred in the area of Dick’s Dry Cleaners.

It is unknown whether the man removed any items from the vehicles.

The victims are listed as a 58-year-old Shippenville woman and a 64-year-old Shippenville man.

Charges will be filed through District Court 18-3-02.
