Route 68 to be Restricted to One-Lane Next Week

Clarion, Pa. (EYT) — State Route 68 will be restricted to a single lane from 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 23 until 7:00 AM on Wednesday, October 24, and from 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 24 until 7:00 AM on Thursday, October 25, weather permitting. This restriction will use short-term flagging setups for the purpose of clearing trees in order to accommodate utility relocations.

Traffic should anticipate stoppages of up to 15 minutes, and slow travel can be expected through the work site during these times.  Traffic should utilize extra caution while traveling through the work zone due to decreased visibility during nighttime operations.

This work is part of the initial phase of the Dolby Street Intersection Project for safety and intersection improvements, and includes additional traffic and turning lanes, signal replacements, drainage upgrades, and other construction activities.
