Clarion Eagles Club to Host Spaghetti Dinner, Chinese Auction for Local Man Battling Cancer

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The Clarion Eagles Club is holding two benefits for a local man who is fighting cancer.

The Eagles Club will be hosting a spaghetti dinner and a Chinese auction in November for Franklin resident Mike Black.

Mike Black was diagnosed with stage three testicular cancer at the age of 36.

He is married with three sons and one daughter. Due to his diagnosis, he is now unable to work, leaving his wife to carry the burden of working while also needing to take time off to accompany him to the hospital on a regular basis for treatment.

The club is seeking the community’s help to raise money for the Black family in their time of need.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3807 located at 81 Stone House Road in Clarion will be holding a benefit spaghetti dinner on Friday, November 2, as well as a benefit Chinese auction and bake sale on Sunday, November 4.

Benefit Spaghetti Dinner

A benefit spaghetti dinner will be held on Friday, November 2, at the Clarion Eagles Club.

The event begins at 4:00 p.m.

The cost is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children.

All proceeds will go directly to the Black family.

The meal includes a salad and bread.

Benefit Chinese Auction and Bake Sale

A benefit Chinese auction and bake sale will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Clarion Eagles Club.

Tickets for the auction can be purchased at the club and will be drawn at 4:00 p.m., after the bake sale.

The items for the auction will also be set up Friday, November 2, and Saturday, November 3.

Winners do not need to be present during the drawing.
