ALEXANDRIA, Va. — A retiree who decided to take the plunge and finally try purchasing a lottery ticket ended up walking away with a $555,555 lotto prize.

Antony Scinta, who said he had never bought a lottery ticket before, won the prize after deciding to purchase a Power 5s scratch-off ticket from a 7-Eleven store in Alexandria.
