KNOX, Pa. (EYT) — Knox’s Once Upon a Christmas Group met last for the last time to put the finishing touches on this year’s event to be held the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Several new crafters will be present along with a new business in Knox.
Every location will be holding their own door prize giveaway, and a grand prize giveaway will also be awarded during the event.
Deer Creek Winery will be giving away a free night that the B & B Inn. Individuals must fill out the form found the flier and return by November 18th to be eligible.

‘Tis the season…or will be soon enough. We are sure that you will find something special for everyone on Santa’s list at Once Upon a Christmas event in Knox. Here is a sneak preview of what you can expect at this year’s Once Upon a Christmas!
A “Story Time Celebration” begins the event on Thursday, November 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the Knox library. All ages. All are welcome. An open house will also be happening at the library on Friday and Saturday during library hours.
Then, Knox Borough and the Knox Borough Police together will kick off the holiday season with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Bring the kids to the SMILES park on Friday, November 16th at 6:00 p.m. for Santa & Mrs. Claus to arrive and visit with the children.
On Friday & Saturday, begin your holiday shopping at the five Business and Crafters’ locations at Wolf’s Den, Wentling Corners, 512 Main, Shaffer Evergreen Rentals, Salem Community Building, and all seven of Knox’s Business Open Houses. Browse beautiful handmade gifts, crafts, wine tasting, candles, oil lamps, essential oils, lavender, and so much more.
On Friday, plan for lunch at the Edenburg Presbyterian Church from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Buffet style lunch consists of soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts and drink of your choice. Take-outs available. Corner of Main and Railroad streets.
On Saturday, you can continue your shopping or have a picture with Santa. Be sure to save enough time for a lunch at the Knox United Methodist Church from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
At 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Shaffer Evergreen Rentals the Knox Community Choir will entertain with some Christmas spirit music. Everyone is welcome.
On Sunday. be sure to visit the many open houses or businesses and save time to enjoy a benefit lunch being provided by the Girl Scouts at Shaffer Green Rentals. Bring your appetite and support the girls with their many adventures.
