FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. (EYT) — North Clarion School District will be hosting its annual Veterans Day Assembly on Friday, November 9, 2018.

The event will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the high school gymnasium and at the Veterans Memorial Park located between the high school and elementary buildings.

The officers from Junior Historians will preside over the assembly.

After the assembly in the gymnasium, guests and students will gather outside at the North Clarion Veterans Park area for the ceremony to honor deceased veterans.

A special ceremony will include the laying of a wreath by members of the VFW Post #2145, a gun salute and posting of colors presented by members of the American Legion Post 66, and the playing of “Taps” by a North Clarion student will conclude the ceremony.

The event is open to the public.
