Case Details:

According to a criminal complaint, around 12:08 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, Trooper Knight, of Clarion State Police, was dispatched to 1500 Robinwood Drive, in Clarion Township, for a report of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, Trooper Knight observed Isaiah Thomas Venable arguing with a known woman in the parking lot of Robinwood Drive.

According to the complaint, the victim — the juvenile daughter of the known woman — reported there was an argument within a Robinwood Drive apartment in the living room area. During the argument, Venable shoved the victim, and she fell to the ground, injuring her right arm. The victim stated that she had severe pain in her arm, and she could not move it due to the pain.

She was transported to the Clarion Hospital Emergency Room for her injuries.

Venable was placed under arrest for simple assault and harassment.

Prior to putting Venable in the police vehicle, he was searched, and a small amount of marijuana was found in his right front pants pocket. He was then transported to the Clarion-based Police Station, the complaint states.

Venable was arraigned on October 27 in Magisterial District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller’s office.
